There's a park near my house that I visit often. It changes so much through the year, with the different seasons and the changing weather.

A Year in the Park
I love spring the most. After the long, cold winter, spring feels like a new beginning. The weather gets warmer, although there can still be some rainy days. The trees start to grow new green leaves, and colourful flowers appear everywhere. The sky seems brighter, and you can hear birds singing. It feels fresh and hopeful. More people start coming to the park more. They walk or sit on the benches and enjoy the first sunny days.
Then comes summer. Summer days are long and often hot and sunny. Sometimes there are heatwaves when the temperature is very high. The park is full of people having picnics, playing games, or just relaxing under the trees. You have to wear sunglasses and maybe a hat. Occasionally, there might be summer storms. They often come with heavy rain, thunder, and lightning, but they usually don't last long. The sky can look very dramatic!
Autumn arrives next. The weather starts to get cooler. The days become shorter. The best part of autumn in the park is the colour of the leaves on the trees – red, gold, orange, and brown. They look beautiful, especially on a bright, sunny autumn day. It can be quite windy, and the leaves blow around. Sometimes there is fog in the mornings. This makes the park look mysterious. You need to start wearing warmer clothes, like a jumper and a coat.
Finally, winter comes. Winter can be cold, grey, and wet. Some days are cloudy and dark. The trees have no leaves. Sometimes, if we are lucky, we get snow! When the park is covered in snow, it looks magical and white. Everything is quiet. You need warm boots, gloves, and a scarf to go for a walk. Sometimes there is ice on the paths, so you have to be careful.
Each season has its own special feeling and beauty. Watching the park change through the year reminds me how nature is always moving and changing with the weather.
