Know Your Level

English Proficiency Test (EPT)

Designed specifically for young learners (ages 6–15). This adaptive assessment gives an indicative estimate of reading level from A1 to B2, so that children start with books that build confidence.

English Mastery Test (EMT)

Tailored for adults and university students (ages 15+). This test evaluates advanced comprehension up to level C2 and gives an indicative estimate of level, with an approximate IELTS band.

Three Reading Pathways

At the heart of Bookiverse are three reading programs: a Foundational Phonics Program with 125 lessons, an Extensive Reading library of CEFR-levelled books and stories from A1 to C2, and an Intensive Reading program whose assessments give instant scores and diagnostic feedback.

Interactive Activities

Learning isn't just reading. We offer hundreds of gamified vocabulary challenges, a CEFR Vocabulary Trainer with 9,750 words and expressions from A1 to C2, and a Read Aloud tool that reads any text in a natural British or American voice.

Courses for Teachers, Parents and Schools

Bookiverse does not run English classes for learners. Our courses help teachers, parents and schools teach English more effectively, in line with international standards such as the CEFR.

Learning Games

AI Learning Assistants

Our AI-powered Bookiverse Guide answers questions at any time, in English or Arabic. It comes in three versions, for learners, parents, and teachers, each offering advice suited to the people it serves.

Accounts and Progress Tracking

Part of every level is free to everyone, and a free account records progress on free content. A subscription opens the full library. The dashboard records books read, lessons, scores, test results and time on task, and parents can add a profile for each child. See the plans

Teachers, Schools and Organisations

Teachers can create classrooms of up to 50 students, each with its own class code; students sign in with a username, the class code and a password. Organisation licences add administrators, teachers and an overview of all classrooms. Both are provided by quotation. Request a quotation

Dr. Imed Bin Abdallah Sdiri is an education expert with over 20 years of experience in English language education, curriculum design, and policy development. His PhD research study focused on evaluating EFL/ESL textbooks using the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) guidelines. Through Bookiverse.online, he brings this academic rigor and practical expertise to a global audience—offering a digital platform that features levelled books, folktales, fables, biographies, informational articles, podcasts, songs, and learning activities for all proficiency levels.

Bookiverse is designed for English learners of all ages, with a special focus on K-12 students. Our content ranges from A1 (Beginner) to C2 (Proficient), making it suitable for everyone from young beginners to advanced adult learners.
Is the content safe for children?
Absolutely. Safety and cultural respect are our top priorities. All stories, songs, and images are rigorously vetted to ensuring they are clean, appropriate, and aligned with family values.
How many CEFR levels does the program cover?
The program covers all 6 CEFR levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2). This ensures that every learner, from absolute beginner to advanced user, finds material that perfectly matches their proficiency level.
How many words does the program include?
Bookiverse includes tens of thousands of CEFR-levelled words. This extensive vocabulary is systematically integrated into our stories and songs, helping learners improve their proficiency by encountering words in meaningful contexts rather than isolated lists.
What makes Bookiverse different?
Bookiverse is distinctive in how it evaluates every text: each book, story and song is checked against CEFR criteria for readability, vocabulary and relevance, using reliable and valid methods, so that learners read material matched to their level.
Should books, stories, and songs be read or listened to only once?
Not at all! We encourage repeated reading and listening. Practice makes perfect—regular repetition helps reinforce sentence structures, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Re-reading is a powerful tool for mastering a language.
Is using the program in the car safe?
Yes, absolutely! You can enjoy listening to the books, stories, and songs in the car. It is really fun and a great way to turn travel time into productive learning time for the whole family.
How often should we read?
You should read daily. We believe reading should be non-stop! It should become a habit and a routine in your life. Consistent daily practice is the fastest way to achieve fluency. Besides, the purpose behind mastering reading is to read more and enjoy the great ideas humanity is generating on a daily basis.
Does Bookiverse offer learning games?
Yes. Mountains of Knowledge is a vocabulary game in which learners complete 270 sentences to cross six CEFR mountains, and Halls of Order is a grammar game in which they purify 18 grammar rules through 270 items, from the present simple at A1 to formal conditionals at C2. Detective Read is a reading game in which they solve 54 cases by reading story files and crime reports and answering 270 questions. You will find all three games on the Online Activities page. The score needed to pass rises with each level, from 70% at A1 to 95% at C2.
Can I get help while using Bookiverse?
Yes. Click the gold chat button on the Online Activities, For Parents, or For Teachers page to talk to the Bookiverse Guide, our AI assistant. It replies in English or Arabic, depending on the language you write in. Like any AI tool, it can occasionally make mistakes, so please don't share personal information in the chat, and contact us directly about anything important.
Is Bookiverse free?
Part of Bookiverse is free to everyone: about 30% of each level, all songs, the English Proficiency Test (EPT) and the game Mountains of Knowledge. A free account records progress on free content. A subscription (USD 60 for 6 months or USD 100 per year) opens the full library. See the Pricing page.
How do teachers and schools use Bookiverse?
Teachers create classrooms with class codes and follow each student's reading, scores and test results. Schools and organisations receive a licence with administrators and an overview of all classrooms. Classrooms and licences are provided by quotation: write to info@bookiverse.online or use the request form on the Pricing page.
How do I subscribe or cancel?
Plans are on the Pricing page. You can pay with a PayPal account or with a debit or credit card; payments are processed by PayPal. Subscriptions renew automatically; you can cancel at any time from your dashboard or your PayPal account, and you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
