C1 – Proficient Users
General Expectation: C1 language users can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning. They can express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. They can understand specialized articles and longer technical instructions, even when they do not relate to their field.
C2 – Proficient Users
General Expectation: C2 language users can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read. They can summarize information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation. They can express themselves spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.
