B2 Level Books
After mastering the B1 level, you are ready to deepen your skills and move confidently into B2 English. Research has proved that this is the minimum proficiency level which language learners and users have to attain to be able to use English with confidence. If you manage to attain the B2 level, it simply means that you can use English to carry on your higher education at an institution that uses English as the medium of instruction. It also means that you can succeed in any job that requires using English in daily transactions.
At the B2 level, we do our best to help you understand the main ideas of complex texts that deal with both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in different fields of specialization. You will also learn how to interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular conversation with native speakers quite possible.
To succeed at the B2 level, you need to command around 4,000–5,000 new English words — and we have carefully woven all this vocabulary into our books. Overall, B2 learners are expected to know around 9000-10000 English words.
