B1 – Intermediate Users
General Expectation: B1 language users can understand the main points of clear texts on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. They can handle straightforward factual texts on subjects related to their field or interests and understand descriptions of events, feelings, and wishes.
B2 – Intermediate Users
General Expectation: B2 language users can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialization. They can read articles and reports concerned with contemporary problems in which the writers adopt particular attitudes or viewpoints.
